SUSTAINABILITY AND THE ART STUDIO
Online Course for Artists and Art Educators
Sustain(ability) and the Art Studio is an online course that prepares artists and art educators to develop ways of thinking about sustainability in their artistic practice or teaching, and prepares them with essential tools for forming their own sustainable art studio and practices.
By the end of the course, students will have an understanding of various natural art processes (such as natural watercolors, inks and dyes, handmade paper or woodblock printmaking) and have a broad understanding of the possibilities that exist through the relationships and partnerships that can be developed within their communities.
This course is particularly designed and recommended for those interested in integrating sustainability in their teaching and/or artistic practice.
